How Hard is it to Pass the California Real Estate Exam?
To qualify to take the California real estate salesperson examination, you must successfully complete three college-level courses, including Real Estate Principles, Real Estate Practice, and one elective, such as Legal Aspects of Real Estate.
Once you complete the three courses, you will need to fill out and submit to the DRE the RE 435 (Salesperson Exam/License Application).
Then you’ll want to do a lot of studying to prepare to take the exam!
The exam is 3 hours and 15-minutes long, consisting of 150 multiple choice questions.
So how hard is it to pass the California Real Estate Exam?
Well, it’s not easy, nor is it super hard. The average passing rate for first-time test takers is around 50 percent.
You certainly want to pass the real estate exam the first time.
